Concept rendering — not completed work
Story
Another one of Albert’s friends. This one’s a newer home in the Woodlands area. Walking in, the cabinetry and countertops were all fine — just dated. The countertop had this interesting color to it, so instead of ripping it out, I designed around it: wall colors, cabinet colors, backsplash, all pulled together to match what was already there.
The other thing dating the house was the arches — they ran through all the hallways. We knocked every one of them out and squared them off, which modernizes the whole feel. You can see it in the fireplace rendering: the old hallway arch is gone, and the new opening runs all the way to the ceiling for more height. We’re doing that at every arch in the house.
The primary bath got the biggest move — a large walk-in shower with the tub, a design that came together with some AI help. It’s the closest of the three to finished, and the most dramatic change. I think this one sells quick.
